The delightful qualities of purple dead nettle

When I first heard the name purple dead nettle, I wasn’t sure what it was or anything about it. however, I did know that I had a BUNCH of this purple weed in my yard. The hippy dippy in me said, “What can I make with this? There has to be something.”

Have you heard of the Google app picture identifier feature? Yeah, barely, but I knew enough to know, “If I take a picture of this stuff, I bet it'll tell me what it is and how I can use it." The life pivoting moment I had been waiting for, and didn't even know it had just happened.

  1. Antibacterial (kills bacteria).

  5. High in Vitamin C (immunity)

  6. High in Iron (this is related to your blood health)

  7. High in fiber (this is related to your GI health)

  8. Seeds are packed with antioxidants (immunity/help your body naturally detox)Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

I don't know if you know this, but plants are organized into a “family.” No, really, that's what they're called. Anyways, purple dead nettle is apart of the mint family.

That's not important for the reason I'm teaching you about it. I just thought it was a cool fact. Anyways...

So unlike these over the counter or even prescription lotions, ointments, and creams, Herbal Healing Garden's healing salves (let's be for real, all products) do not have fillers, micros doses of antibiotics (look up antibiotic resistance. It's a real and really bad thing), or synthetic chemicals. What does all of that mean for you? You get all the benefits you want and need plus more without putting your health, organs, and lymphatic (immune) system in harms way. Youre actually doing the opposite, and supporting your body in more ways than you could ever imagine, but we'll get into that another time.
